Local Hooters Tour Players Get a Little Home Cooking
New England has been well represented on the Hooters Pro Tour and it has been very successful for several Massachusetts players such as Rob Oppenheim who is now on the Nationwide Tour, Jim Renner ( 5th on the money list) and  Michael Welch (6th on the money list) as well as up and coming hopefuls like Matt Parziale. This week, some of these players took a break from the southern based tour to com...

Constant rains and lengthy delays shortened The Sunset Hills NGA Classic to 54 holes. Renner entered Sundays final round tied for 6th, just three shots behind the three co-leaders of Devlin, Miller and Brehm with a big task at hand. Up ...

Oppenheim remains on top, Renner and Parziale make the cut
Day two is in the books at Forest Lake Golf Club and with the unusual small field of 64, just 21 players instead of the usual 40 lived to see another day. Scrolling through the players scorecards for the past couple of days, it appears to be business as usual with pars, birdies and bogeys. I didn’t see too many doubles or triple bogeys never mind any eagles. The only notables that I can see...
