With Florida having record cold weather this week, team New England felt right at home as they entered three players in this weeks Hooters Pro Tour event in Orlando and all three made the cut and cashed.

Rob Oppenheim (67-66-68) is $8,500 richer finishing his wire to wire run today at Shingle Creek GC . Rob maintained his 3 shot lead finishing at -15 this week. Oppenheim made 2 birdies and a bogey on the front side before carding a 3-under backside. Fellow New Englander Jim Renner (68-69-67) made 4 birdies and a bogey on the front nine before throwing down two more birdies on the back, carding a 67 today. Renner once again had a top ten finish jumping back into the second slot at -12. Jon Curran(+1) made 5 bogeys today that cost him to drop from 8th to 19th as he carded a 74(+2) today.

The success this week of  Renner and Oppenheim has put them in the third and fourth spots respectively behind idle Joe Affrunti and Michael Thompson in the winter standings. Although Michael Welch fell out of the top ten by taking this week off, he stays in the top 20 on the money list at 17th.

Next stop for the Hooters Pro Tour is  Forest Lake Golf Club in Ocoee, Florida January 12-14. See the final scoreboard here.
