Oppenheim extends his lead at Shingle Creek

Rob Oppenhiem (-11) extended his lead by a couple of shots today after carding today’s low round six-under 66. After making par on 1 and 5 Rob made his only bogey on the 3rd hole and quickly got that shot back and then some by making birdies on 4,7,9,12,17 and an eagle 3 on the par 5, 16th hole. Also shooting 66 today is Kelly Sellers (-8) who is tied for second with Russell Knox (-8).  Jim Renner (-7) is just four shots back and sitting in fourth. Renner peeled off an impressive 5 straight birdies and then added one more for a 6 under front side. Unfortunately for Jim, he had 4 bogey’s and just one birdie on the backside to finish with a 69 today. Jon Curran (-1) bounced back from his 3 yesterday with a 2-under 70 today and is sitting in the 8 spot with one round to go.
