Renner stumbles,Oppenheim surges on day 3 of Q-School

Sink the Putts is following 3 of the qualifying courses to keep up with the golfers that are often mentioned on Sink the Putts. There are still 3 Massachusetts natives in this weeks event as well as the top money leaders from the Hooters Winter Tour series. The field will play 4 rounds this week and each course has a pre- determined amount of players that will advance to the finals December 2-7 at Bear Lakes CC.
Southern Hills Plantation- Brooksville, FL
The top 21 scores and ties will advance to the finals. The leaders are at -15, the cut line is currently at -7
T10thKeegan Bradley 69-66-72 (-9) was cruising right along by getting the birdie hat trick on 10,11, and 12 but gave it back with a double on 16 and a bogey on 17. Bradley is still staying above the cut line with 18 holes to play.
T31stGeoffrey Sisk 72-70-70 (-4) is just 3 shots out of the finals with another steady round today. The Marshfield native can get himself to the finals with one more solid round.
T35thJim Renner 70-67-76 (-3) had a disastrous round today with 3 doubles and 2 bogeys. The Quincy native was the best Massachusetts prospect playing this week and has put himself in a huge hole. Renner has proved more than once that he is able to bounce back. After missing a cut a few weeks back, he came back with a huge round the next week.
T47thYohann Benson 74-71- 70(-1) has ran out of luck, winner of the first qualifying round can not get anything going this week and will most likely miss the finals.

The top 20 scores plus ties will advance to the finals. The leaders are at -19, the cut line is currently at -6
T7thJoe Affrunti 68-69-69 (-10) had a bogey free round and moved up one more spot today. Staying out of trouble tomorrow will secure a spot at Bear Lakes CC.
T11thRob Oppenheim 68-73- 66(-9) made 7 birdies and a bogey today and greatly improving his chances for the finals. Rob made a bogey on 16 and then came right back making birdies on both the 17th and 18th holes. The Massachusetts native jumped 19 spots from yesterday’s 30th position to put himself right back into the mix.
