Q-School  is more complicated than people think and for Brockton’s Matt Parziale, his hard work has given him the opportunity to advance to the next stage.

Matt finished tied for 29th in the Pre-Qualifying round of Q-School played at Yankee Hill CC in Lincoln, Nebraska this weekend shooting 69-73-71-72-285 (+5). After making a double bogey on the par 4 second hole, Parziale rebounded nicely from his +4 front nine as he made birdie on  3 of the last 5 holes coming in.

Matt’s quest for the Nationwide Tour continues as he will be playing  the first Qualifying stage which will be held one of  two weekends (October 24th or the 30th). It has not been determined what weekend or which of the eleven courses he will play at. Matt is hoping to draw Grasslands Golf and Country Club in Lakeland Florida, where he has played before and is familiar with the course.

Parziale is hoping to keep his steady play going  and get himself into the second round of Q-School in November.
